Hello. I have just started on my spiritual path and it appears to be the Druid path. As a neophyte on this path can you recommend a book that might provide me with some initial knowledge and guidance? Thank you and have a blessed day!
We have no membership restrictions. You are welcome to attend our rituals. Our next is on 11.7 at the Shoreline UUC. There is a link to the event with address and map. We’d love to see you there and we can answer more of your questions in person.
Hello!
I’ve been living in Seattle for a while now, but interested in community. I’m checking out local covens/groves/groups to get a feel for them and would love to have a sit down conversation with someone to see if this would work for me!
I studied celticism and Druidry many years ago and have always been more drawn to it, more so than other traditions. Since then, however, I’ve been mostly a solitaire practitioner of Paganism.
Is there a proper time and place I can meet someone and have a chat?
I’d be happy to meet and chat about ADF in general and our grove and region in more detail. I’ll email you directly with contact info. Tried tha before but my phone did some crazy formatting on it.
Greetings, I’m Kae. I am an ADF member in Tacoma. I would love to connect with Cascadia Grove but I dislike driving in or through Seattle. I would like to know if there are any regular attendees at your rituals or meetings that come from Tacoma or even Olympia, who might be interested in carpooling. My email address is published in the ADF member database under the name Kae Randwulf.
Hello Kae,
I could possibly meet you at the Sounder station in Tukwilla and carpool from there. Today is complicated, but I could for sure do something for an upcoming rite.
Also, we are going to start alternating between our current location in Shoreline and another location in the Renton/Tukwilla area. This will help we south enders get there more easily.
Reply to this message and I should get it right away.
I just rejoined ADF after years of wandering around, feels good. I’m up in Vancouver BC but would love to attend a ritual at some point. When is your next ritual in Shoreline (easier for me than Tukwila)?
Hi Doug, Sorry we lost track of this comment. We changed who gets notified of comments so hopefully we’ll be on top of this better. Our next rite in the north end will be Sunday Feb 5th at 3pm at Cunning Crow Apothecary. I’ll send you an email direct with further dates. Thanks for your comment!
Hello, I’m Angie, based in the Snoqualmie Valley area. I have always felt most at home in nature and felt called to it – I’m completing my degree in Conservation Biology this year, but I’ve only recently been inspired to look into earth-based spirituality as well. I was raised in a very Christian household, so this is somewhat new territory for me.
I’m especially curious about ADF and and am thinking about attending one or both of the Imbolc rites. I might bring my husband along too. I know your site says you are open to all, but I just wanted to make sure and give you a heads-up that I/we may be coming.
Two quick questions: is the Trout Lake site difficult to access in winter? (Should put chains on my truck?) And is there anything we could bring? I love to cook and share food with people.
Hi Angie! Thanks for contacting us. Congrats on your degree 🙂 You are welcome to attend either of the rites and yes, Trout Lake could very well need chains. You can contact them directly to find out exactly how their roads are – they can be quite different even from Hood River which is just 30 minutes south. Trout Lake has a potluck after their rituals so anything you want to bring would be welcome. Offerings to the Kindreds are also welcome. I will forward Cascadia’s dates and locations for rituals in the Puget Sound area. Thanks again!
Hi I’m Krystal! My family and I have recently moved back to Washington and are looking for a group to celebrate sabbaths with. I have been to rituals in the past through Chalice Hart and am excited to return to participating in them. My husband and best friend have never been to a ritual. Any information you could give us would be great regarding garb, food, crafting items to bring etc. Thanks!
Hi I’m Christina!
I have been lead to this path through research and meditation. I would like to visit and get to know this path better. I was raised Christian but have been drawn to nature based spirituality for a very long time.
Looking forward to learning more!
It is summer 2019 and the Goddess Brigid’s Shrine is being built! The walls are up and the roof should be done by winter. The Goddess Samona’s Shrine just has a few finishing touches. Over the last year, we also got a statue of Lleu Llaw Gyffes and there is now a shelter built over his statue.
The Patreon site (patreon.com/wmds) has been updated with information about getting engraved bricks for the walkway up to Brigid’s Shrine. We also have a blog at https://witchesandpagans.com/pagan-paths-blogs/cascadia-druids.html.

Hi Beard,
I appreciate your reply, and your offer for future carpooling from Tukwila.
I am excited to learn that Cascadia Grove will be hosting some events on the more southerly side. I hope to be meeting you soon!
